Description:

Responsible for bulk mail set up, processing, and completion. Accepts, verifies, classifies, and computes postage on all classes of domestic and international business mail. Provides customer assistance to ensure customer's understanding of postal mailing standards, mail preparation requirements and methods of presentation. Other duties include mail pickup and delivery, sorting mail, help as needed, and any special projects as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

*This position will also be for the summer of 2021. You must be available to work during the summer if you apply.

Following production workflow to produce high volumes of work using high end processing equipment Planning, Prioritizing, and Coordination daily workload while maintaining high quality standards , meeting customer deadlines and maximizing the equipment's productivity. Ensuring that printed materials comply with guidelines established by SUU Postal Operations and USPS. Packaging finished product and delivering product to customer or USPS. Properly using equipment and caring for all equipment in compliance with operating instructions. Organizing and Maintaining a clean work area. Completing documents necessary for internal accounting/chargeback system. Working cooperatively with other Postal Operations staff and others on joint assignments. Assisting co-workers in the timely and accurate accomplishment of all departmental operations. Performing related duties to fulfill the mission of SUU Postal Operations. Must have valid Drivers License. Must be able to lift 50 pounds comfortably.
